Signed September 30, 2020, following an extensive consultation process, with the Northwest Territory Métis Nation and representatives of the communities of Fort Resolution, Fort Smith and Hay River.
The agreement gives Taltson the full support of the Métis Nation to work together for the benefit of all parties and the environment. It was instrumental in lifting the region's interim land withdrawal — enabling the company to stake the 76.25 km² of claims that surround the original O'Connor Lake lease.
It establishes a framework for cooperation across every stage of the project's development, through to fruition. (The Collaboration Agreement itself is a confidential document.)
